Hey everyone from Dubai... my time is nearly up here, but it's been good, spent the first day in the malls, this is really not a place for people with spenddaphonia (yup thats my new word for the day!) So i got some cool things! And today i went on a tour of the city, it was really interesting and the number of world records this city is going to have is amazing, then the wierdest thing happened, while i was on the tour i passed Filda (for everyone who is just too uncool to know who she is she's a friend from Switz!) so it really is a small world and it was so cool to catch up! So for anyone stressing about finding christmas presents head over to the UAE you're going to find everything! I'm flying back to South A tomorrow, really looking forward to getting back actually, and catching up with everyone at home. Stay good everyone!

Hong Kong, now this is a great city, admittedly i stayed in the country but this place was great and being with Reiko and Nikko was even better, it felt like we were hardly apart (you not inc. Reiko cos i had just seen u!) I did feel like a bus had run over me the a few times the first couple days but thats cos' of my awesome luck with the timing in getting sick. So lets see what did we do: we had Anna's 40th (really 50th) birthday, which was really funny besides when i had to get up and talk, people know i'm not too smooth with that, but the food was amazing, seriously! There was sightseeing, yup the Peak. And there was shopping, i don't care what you say Reiko, you are seriously worse than me. There was walking, ferry rides, and taxi rides, drinking, and also a day on the yacht, which i've decided i have to do, it was soooo much fun. So i'll leave you to the pictures, there are alot, i had to skip a few even. But you'll see it was really fun with the Wilks, thanks guys. I'll wirte again soon! Stay good everyone.

I had a couple days in Bangkok, and even though i was bed-ridden with what ended up becoming tonsilitis, yup happy days, i managed to see a bit, mainly their country sized shopping malls, and an encounter with an elephant in the street, it scared the hell out of me, so maybe it was a good thing i was stuck in the room! It's a crazy city, thats the perfect way to describe it, and if you want to see some really surreal things, thats the place!

It’s another place, well places down, and I did not want to leave either, time really does fly when you are having fun! Finally I got to see Al, who was amazing and things could not have been better, in Langkawi which is a cool island in Northern Malaysia, and we spent a few days there being total locals driving around, lying on the beach, eating (drinking inc. in this section) and getting some unforgivable sunburn! And I got to see all the places she has told me about over the past few months so at least now I can picture everything. Then for our ‘holiday (adventure)’ we went by ferry to Koh Lipe, a tiny island in Thailand that is so secluded and undeveloped it was perfect (the water here is so good), but I became a total paranoid traveller when our passports were taken by someone (I maintain the person seemed dodge) for immigration but then couldn’t find him and no one understood what I was saying, or what a passport is, which Al handled really well just telling me to relax, where is the rescue when you need it?! It was all fine though and we made it to the island really easily! And here we did nothing much else besides lazing on the beach and sticking to one friendly shack of a restaurant, we were best friends though but never quite got to names! The island was also really small that you could walk round it, something I found really hard after a few drinks at the bar across the island from our room, which was a laugh too, with a bed that had, ‘I miss you’, ‘kiss me’, and ‘be mine’ with hearts all over it! So for anyone going to Thailand you have to go to Koh Lipe, it’s an untouched chilled out place, for all us backpacking types (yes i’m including myself in that category)! So then it was back to Langkawi for a couple more days and had some good times at Reggae Bar, the name says it all, and more doing nothing, together we win the laziest couple contest hands down! It was such a great time, and Al I’m going to miss you loads, now it’s just a couple more months till school. I’ll write soon from Bangkok, yup back to Thailand, I hope this finds everyone well and safe!
